Left Sculpture 11x5x5    Right Sculpture 8.5x5x5

These Sculptures depict an anti stereotype look at eating disorders. I wanted to touch on this complex subject to show that not everyone that has said eating disorder looks the same. It is widespread for someone to struggle with an issue regarding their relationship with food, and they should all be recognized. It has been an ongoing problem for doctors and professionals to misdiagnose or ignore certain patients that don't fit the look of their claimed eating disorder.
The sculpture on the left is a heavier-set person depicting anorexia, as shown by her stature and the measurement band around her base. The sculpture on the right depicts someone that struggles with binge disorder that looks very small. These two people are made to look very vague to show how equal they are in their internal struggle and paint them as the same in this sense, not one higher than the other.
